This Is Just a Test.

So apparently Apple acts like a child and announces that it won’t release its upcoming Apple Intelligence features in the EU, because… you know… EU == bad.

Honestly, I couldn’t care less. In my opinion, this AI hype everywhere is the biggest bubble since dotcom times. Every fucking company thinks they need it, it gets shoved down your throat in every impossible situation, and it’s hailed as the golden grail of computing.

My biggest concern is that it already affects content quality on a lot of sites - and the situation will get worse with every new AI generated piece that will be scraped by AI crawlers to learn… so I see a negative feedback loop, where any new AI hallucination leads to a new fact learned by AI.

I know, this opinion is unpopular, maybe even stupid and ignorant, but I really don’t want an assistant writing my presentation for me, or my emails, or generate funny images out of thin air.

I value human creativity and intelligence. AI won’t give us a better future.
